Since I am the author of all of the Trax News articles, thus far. I thought is best to list my qualifications to lend credibility to my thoughts and words.
First of all, I am not a Medical Doctor. My academic and work experience is as follows:
● Microwave/Radar Electronics
● BS, Medical Microbiology
● CLS, Medical Technology
● Medical Instrumentation
● Director of Corporate Quality
● Clinical Studies: Design & Data
● Algorithm Development
● Paired Statistics Software
● BP Software Design
I retired from the corporate world in 2002 and attempted to qualify for a Life Insurance policy shortly thereafter. This is when I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Hypertension: (165/105). As I proceeded through a series of prescribed treatments, I soon realized that my cardiovascular health rested upon only 3 or 4 MD Office BP measurements. Realizing that insufficient data was the immediate problem, I purchased a Wrist BP monitor and began measuring my BP.
Next, I needed software that compared all my treatments so I would know which treatment worked best for me. To my surprise, that software did not exist.
To make a long story short, I coded my own Excel software and with the help of iMobLife, bp Trax became a reality.
